Located in Door County

Our concept started in 2004 after my father (also a Wally) and I had just re-started our 3rd generation rug and flooring business in Sister Bay. It started off as a joke with a funny name for a business. He pictured himself peddling hot dogs rolling a push cart around Door County. The joke turned into brainstorming...which turned into a file filled with research. Before we knew it, it was no longer a joke. The concept for Wally's Weenie Wagon was born.

After running our rug and flooring shop for 10 years, we made a plan to close the business and make the Wally's Weenie Wagon a reality. Life had other plans. In September of 2014, my father unexpectedly passed away.

The dust has settled. My wife, Traci and I have re-grouped, dusted off the business plans, acquired funding, and ordered a food trailer. What started as a joke between a father and son are now the plans for our future.

Although my father is no longer with us, we are still bringing him on our journey.
